Most Lip waxes take about 5 to 15 minutes once in the treatment room. Consultation, sanitizing, and post-wax soothing may add a few extra minutes, making the total appointment roughly 10–20 minutes depending on additional services or client needs.

Some redness or mild irritation for a few hours is normal. We use gentle techniques, sterile strips, and soothing balms to minimize inflammation. If you have sensitive skin or certain medications, inform us beforehand for a patch test or alternative options.

Most clients see regrowth in 3 to 6 weeks, with hairs appearing finer and sparser over time. Regular waxing weakens the follicle, leading to slower growth. Individual cycles and hormones can affect timing, so results vary.

Topical retinoids and some acne treatments increase skin sensitivity and risk of tearing. We recommend discontinuing retinoids two weeks prior and bringing a list of medications to your appointment. Patch tests or alternative hair removal methods may be advised.

Exfoliate gently 48 hours before and avoid heavy moisturizers or oils on the day of your appointment. Keep the area clean, avoid sun exposure and blood-thinning medications if possible. Longer hair (about 1/4 inch) helps the wax grip better.

Lip waxing is generally safe during pregnancy, though heightened sensitivity may increase discomfort. We advise consulting your healthcare provider and scheduling in later trimesters if comfortable. For sensitive skin, a patch test and gentle products are used to ensure safety.
