Some discomfort is normal, but pain varies by person. Our trained estheticians use quick, skilled techniques to minimize discomfort. Numbing creams or post-care soothing products are available on request. First-time clients often find it tolerable and short-lived.

Hair should be about 1/4 inch (roughly a grain of rice) to allow the wax to grip. If hair is shorter, waxing may be less effective; if longer, we can trim it for optimal results before waxing.

Typically every 4-6 weeks depending on personal hair growth. Over time, regular waxing can lead to slower regrowth and finer hairs. We recommend booking based on individual regrowth patterns and desired smoothness for consistent maintenance.

Avoid shaving between waxing appointments because it removes the hair root and disrupts waxing results. If you must, wait until hair grows back to about 1/4 inch. Exfoliating gently and keeping the area clean helps prevent ingrown hairs.

Arrive with clean, dry skin and avoid heavy lotions or oils. Exfoliate 24-48 hours prior to reduce ingrown hairs, and avoid sun exposure or chemical peels the week before. If using medications or retinoids, inform your esthetician.

Use gentle, fragrance-free soothing lotions or aloe vera immediately after waxing. Avoid tight clothing, hot baths, saunas, and heavy exercise for 24 hours. Start gentle exfoliation after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and apply recommended products as directed.
